GentlePlacement

Privacy policy

Last updated October 8, 2026.

This policy explains what GentlePlacement collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to gentleplacement.com.

What we collect

What you give us. When you fill out a form we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the details you choose to share about the care situation, such as who needs care, the timeframe, the level of care, the area, and any notes. If you use one of our free tools and ask for your results, we also receive your answers to that tool.

What is collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the site. We use cookies and similar technologies for this, described below.

How we use it

  • To call, email, or (if you agreed) text you about finding care
  • To find licensed care homes that can meet the care needs you describe
  • To understand which pages and advertising bring people to us, so we can improve them
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam

Who we share it with

Care homes and care programs. When you ask us to find a placement, we share the care details with the specific licensed homes we are considering, so they can tell us whether they can meet the need. If Medi-Cal Community Supports is involved, we share the referral with the contracted agency handling authorization.

Service providers who run parts of our business for us and may only use your information to do so: our customer relationship system (GoHighLevel), our email provider, our web host (Cloudflare), and Google Analytics.

Advertising partner. We use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to show ads and measure whether they work. See the next section.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never pass it to lead brokers or other placement agencies.

Advertising and analytics

This site uses the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. When you visit, the pixel tells Meta which pages were viewed. When you submit a form, we tell Meta that a form was submitted, along with a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number, your IP address, and your browser type, so Meta can match it to an ad you may have clicked.

We never send Meta or Google the details of the care situation. Care level, diagnosis, notes, and your answers to our tools stay with us.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand how the site is used. It runs with Google's advertising features turned off.

Under California law, letting Meta use this information for targeted advertising can count as "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, the Meta pixel never loads and nothing is sent to Meta about you.

Text messages

We only text you if you check the box agreeing to it. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting help from us.

We will not share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data is not shared with anyone except the service providers who send the messages on our behalf.

Your rights under California law

If you live in California, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising
  • Not be treated differently for using any of these rights

To make a request, email admin@gentleplacement.com or call (747) 210-9358. We will verify your request by matching the contact details you give us, and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

We only use the care details you give us to help you find care, and not to infer characteristics about you for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as we are helping you and for up to three years afterwards, so we can answer follow-up questions and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Children

This site is for adults arranging care. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not sell or share information about anyone under 16.

Facility data on this site

Information about licensed care facilities is published by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, as a public dataset under a Creative Commons Attribution license. It contains no personal information about residents.
